Modern Warships Promo Codes

Verify codes on official channels, understand redemption UI changes, and claim rewards when campaigns return.

Modern Warships Codes Hub

Modern Warships promo codes have historically been one of the fastest ways to earn Gold, Credits, consumables, and occasional ship fragments without spending real money. Artstorm and Gaijin distribute codes through official social channels, seasonal events, and partner streams — but as of August 2026, many codes are inactive and the in-game redemption menu may be missing after recent updates like Virtual Worlds 0.107. This hub explains the current situation, how we list codes, and where to verify before you waste time typing a dead string.

We do not publish unverified or invented codes. If no official source confirms an active campaign, this page will not pretend otherwise.

Current status (August 2026)

After several major patches, the promo code landscape shifted:

  • Many previously published codes are expired — Artstorm disables them server-side, often without a public announcement.
  • The Promo Code button may be absent from Menu → Settings → Account on some builds. When the UI is missing, codes are typically unavailable even if social posts mention them.
  • Official Discord remains the source of truth — if developers re-enable redemption, they announce it there first.

When codes return, rewards still land in Gold, Credits, boosters, or inventory items. Until then, lean on the Battle Pass free track, daily missions, and guaranteed Ship Upgrades for steady progression.

How this page is organized

We split every code entry into two sections so you can scan quickly:

Active codes

Each active entry includes:

  • Code string — typed exactly as published (case-sensitive on some platforms)
  • Reward — Gold, Credits, boosters, or event items
  • Added date — when we first confirmed it worked
  • Expiry note — known end date, or “verify in Discord” if unknown
  • Platform — mobile (iOS/Android), Steam/PC, or all platforms

If the active section is empty, no code has passed our verification bar recently. Check official channels before trusting third-party lists.

Because Modern Warships runs cross-platform on iOS, Android, and Steam (app ID 3144230), most codes work everywhere when live — but always check the source post. Steam launched around June 4, 2026, while mobile players had access earlier; some legacy codes may have been mobile-only at release.

Expired codes

Expired codes stay listed for reference so you can see what rewards were offered and spot recurring patterns (holiday Gold bundles, Battle Pass launch gifts, etc.). Do not expect expired codes to work — Artstorm typically disables them server-side without announcement.

Before you redeem anything

  1. Verify on official channels. Discord and the game’s Facebook or X accounts are the primary sources. If a code is not mentioned there, treat third-party lists with skepticism.
  2. Confirm the Promo Code menu exists. Open Menu → Settings → Account. If Promo Code is missing, codes may be temporarily unavailable — see How to Redeem Codes.
  3. Redeem promptly when active. Codes tied to livestreams or patch celebrations often have short windows.
  4. One account, one claim. Promo codes are almost always single-use per account.
  5. Check your mail/inventory. Rewards land in your account balance or inventory immediately after a successful redeem.

For step-by-step input on each device, read the How to Redeem Codes guide. To learn where new codes drop first, see Where to Find Codes.

Redemption path (when available)

When the menu is present, every platform uses the same in-game route:

Menu → Settings → Account → Promo Code

Enter the code, confirm, and wait for the success message. If you see “invalid” or “expired,” the code is likely dead — do not spam retries. See the redeem guide for platform-specific screenshots and error fixes.

Why codes still matter when they return

Gold is scarce. Free Battle Pass ships and event currencies stretch your progression, but promo codes fill gaps between seasons — extra Credits for guaranteed upgrades, Gold for premium consumables, or boosters that speed early leveling. New captains should claim every verified working code before buying bundles; veterans watch codes during major updates when developers often drop celebration rewards.

When codes are quiet, alternatives keep F2P viable:

  • Battle Pass — free track ship plus Credit and Upgrade Point rewards each season.
  • F2P Progression — daily mission loops and offline Credit farming.
  • Ship Upgrades — guaranteed module stages after 0.107 with no RNG waste.

Pair code hunting with the Getting Started guide for tutorial rewards, and check Virtual Worlds 0.107 for the latest economy changes.

Keeping this list accurate

We update active and expired sections whenever community verification or official posts confirm a change. Because we are an unofficial wiki, always double-check Discord before assuming a code still works. We will not add codes without a traceable official source.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Are Modern Warships promo codes working in August 2026?

Many previously active codes are expired, and the redemption UI may be missing after recent updates. Verify any code on official Discord before attempting to redeem — we do not list unconfirmed codes.

Where do I enter Modern Warships promo codes?

When available, open Menu → Settings → Account → Promo Code on any platform. If the Promo Code button is missing, codes are likely temporarily unavailable.

Why did my code say invalid or expired?

The code may have hit its time limit, already been claimed on your account, or was typed with wrong capitalization. Verify the exact string on official Discord or social posts.

What should I do when no codes are active?

Progress the free Battle Pass track for Credits and ships, complete daily missions, and use guaranteed Ship Upgrades after 0.107. Watch official Discord for when codes return.

Can I redeem the same code twice?

No. Each promo code can typically be redeemed once per account. Creating alt accounts to reuse codes may violate terms of service.
